The extensive knowledge we posses in building product customizers allowed us to create a very rich user experience while achieving the goals of the project. Since it's launch the helmet customizer has been a very successful vehicle for Xenith to get product directly in the hands of their key consumers.

Hard Bottom Inflatables (HBI) has been a leader in the inflatable boat category since 1988. HBI already had a web presence when they came to Proximity Design. However, the design was dated and content was buried, something a tech savvy, affluent target audience would not accept. We worked with HBI to better organize it's content, performed a full redesign and revolutionized a new product for them. The "Build Your Own" section of the site was text driven and hard to understand. Through the use of a product customizer we offered the consumer an easy to digest interface that drives sales of the custom boat product.
caillou boats are the creators of an innovative sailing kayak. Created with an ease of use in mind caillou gets you to your destination no matter what the conditions. Owned by the CMO of an international footwear company the creative requirements of this project were great. Product showcasing, branding, display of a diverse set of photographic assets and easy updatability were some of the challenges. The site is driven by a content management system (CMS) that allows the owner to update and add content without the use of an outside agency. The site has been up for a few years now. It serves its purpose as well today as it did when it was launched, something you can't say about most websites.
